This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Represent CARD in a manner that is professional, loyal, and ethical.

β€’ Adhere to and support compliance with all rules and regulations in line with CARD’s policies and procedures.

β€’ Engage in collaboration and participation in HR initiatives, meetings, training sessions, and work products.

β€’ Assist in researching and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

β€’ Oversee background screening and onboarding compliance for new employees within the assigned area, with the ability to cover other areas and serve as a backup when necessary.

β€’ Conduct initial orientation for newly hired employees and follow up on any outstanding items.

β€’ Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.

β€’ Audit I-9 exception reports and inform the HR Manager of any noncompliant I-9s following escalation procedures.

β€’ Communicate accurately with Business Partners regarding specific clearances, certifications, and credentialing.

β€’ Process and maintain all Unemployment Notices in a timely and efficient manner.

β€’ Monitor the assigned email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly.

β€’ Uphold a high level of confidentiality regarding company and employee documents.

β€’ Attend and participate in meetings as required.

β€’ Handle reporting, research, audits, and other administrative tasks for the department, as assigned.

β€’ Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ High school diploma or equivalent is required.

β€’ Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

β€’ Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.

β€’ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

β€’ Strong organizational and time management abilities are necessary.

β€’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills is required.

β€’ Attention to detail and the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are crucial.

β€’ Ability to work full-time during standard business hours is expected.

β€’ Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team is important.
