Online Adjunct Professor – Human Resources Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Create a learning atmosphere that aligns with the college's mission and vision statements.

• Deliver approximately 12-14 hours of instruction weekly across five days for each course.

• Prepare the assigned course(s) in Blackboard, ensuring all required elements are completed by the specified deadline.

• Lead discussions, evaluate student assignments, manage email communication, and engage in personalized retention efforts and outreach to enhance student success.

• Respond to inquiries (via email, text, calls, etc.) from students, supervisors, colleagues, and others within a 48-hour timeframe.

• Stay updated with contemporary knowledge and skills in your discipline to fulfill classroom responsibilities effectively.

• Assess student submissions, adhere to grading rubrics, and offer comprehensive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management or Leadership, or a business degree with 12 graduate hours in human resource coursework.

• Human Resource certifications are highly regarded.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a human resources role or a position that involves human resource functions.

• At least one year of teaching experience.

• Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably Blackboard.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications.
