This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
β’ Oversee and resolve the complete process of employee exits in various international locations, ensuring an exceptional offboarding experience for Remote's clients and their employees.
β’ Offer expert advice and manage client inquiries on diverse HR issues, including but not limited to termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes, while ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices.
β’ Conduct and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including but not limited to workforce reduction consultation meetings, administrative hearings, negotiations on separations and settlements, providing guidance on terminations, and delivering termination outcomes.
β’ Influence and negotiate favorable results in intricate terminations, balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to guarantee compliance in offboarding procedures and audits, including but not limited to payroll, legal counsel, government entities, and trade unions.
β’ Draft, customize, and manage all termination and supplementary documents with precision and attention to detail, ensuring employee records are maintained in strict accordance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.
β’ Execute offboarding on Remote's internal HRIS platform, working alongside various internal teams, such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance, to ensure all elements of the employee exit are handled correctly and promptly.
β’ Serve as the subject-matter expert and address internal and external inquiries regarding all offboarding issues in conjunction with Lifecycle's internal stakeholders.
β’ Guide clients through Remote's Employee Relations resources and manuals, assisting them in comprehending applicable policies and procedures.
β’ Conduct initial assessments of workplace concerns, identifying key details and relevant local regulations.
β’ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee appropriate management of employee relations issues.
β’ Assist clients in understanding progressive disciplinary methods and documentation necessities.
β’ Monitor ongoing employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-ups and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
β’ Actively seek out opportunities for process enhancements, automation, product development, and overall improvements in customer and employee experiences through offboarding and employee relations processes.
β’ Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with general HR competencies and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.
β’ Proven background in managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance; and providing extensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
β’ Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze complex HR challenges, conduct research, deliver practical solutions, and effectively communicate recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar environments.
β’ Basic knowledge of employee relations principles, progressive discipline strategies, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
β’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to confidently lead challenging conversations to a positive conclusion, often in situations with conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
β’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, with knowledge of additional languages considered an asset.
β’ A strong desire to innovate and enhance processes, consistently identifying and implementing automation opportunities and advocating for best practices.
β’ Operational efficiency, with an understanding of the significance of meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy, capable of collaborating asynchronously across various tools, and adaptable to new and evolving systems.
β’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
