Compensation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Analyze and keep track of industry compensation trends, survey data, and local market changes that affect non-exempt roles.

• Develop and maintain compensation reports within the Compensation Management tool to evaluate the program's competitiveness in the market.

• Assist in performing pay equity analyses to guarantee fair and uniform compensation practices.

• Assess job positions, work together with legal to establish FLSA classification, and gather cost-of-labor and cost-of-living information.

• Create and manage non-exempt compensation programs, performing scenario analyses to guide recommendations for program management.

• Ensure that compensation programs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.

• Oversee communication and administration of incentive and bonus plans for all non-exempt positions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or HR management, or a combination of education and experience that enables effective performance in all aspects of the role.

• Over 2 years of experience in compensation administration; proven knowledge of compensation methodologies, commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Understanding of compensation principles, including market pricing, salary structures, pay equity, and compliance.

• Proven proficiency in MS Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functions.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Outstanding time management capabilities.

• Skill in interacting with and influencing others effectively.

• Capability to research and identify issues, develop proposals, and conduct analyses both independently and collaboratively.

• Proven strategic decision-making and project management abilities.
