This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver dependable, cost-efficient, and prompt legal advice to various business units concerning a diverse range of issues impacting both the region and the global organization.

• Provide counsel on and facilitate negotiations for commercial transactions, contracts, and agreements with essential customers, vendors, and service providers.

• Offer strategic legal insights on significant transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

• Oversee everyday legal matters related to business operations.

• Assist in the formulation of company policies, operational enhancements, and procedural improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or jurisdiction in Canada.

• Bachelor’s Degree and graduation from an accredited law school.

• Extensive in-house and law firm experience in managing procurement, logistics, commercial operations, real estate, and/or supply-chain transactions.

• Proficient in contract drafting, negotiation, and identifying issues in operationally intricate environments.

• Strong judgment, executive presence, and capability to collaborate cross-functionally with non-legal stakeholders.
