• Provide legal counsel on a broad range of US legal matters, focusing mainly on labor and employment issues, to Airbus entities throughout the US.
• Act as a project leader and advisor for labor relations on various corporate special initiatives as requested.
• Collaborate with management and HR teams to offer guidance and direction, fostering a positive employee relations atmosphere.
• Oversee employment law-related activities for US entities in conjunction with the Senior Legal Counsel for Labor and Employment.
• Assist in the investigations and operations of the People Matter Network, including support for Employee Relations Managers.
• Draft, negotiate, and conduct legal reviews of Executive Employment Agreements, Retention Agreements, and Severance Agreements.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of training sessions for executives, management, and HR stakeholders.
• Juris Doctor degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
• Admission to the bar in one or more of the following states: Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, or Oklahoma.
• Current on Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.
• A minimum of 10 years of legal practice experience, with a focus on management-side labor and employment matters.
• Experience with state or federal agencies that enforce labor and employment laws.
• Skilled in labor relations strategy and execution.
• Proficient in using Google Suite.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
