Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate/Commercial Counsel, SaaS/M&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You serve as the legal driving force, supporting our clients as if you were their in-house legal department.

• You establish trust and take charge of negotiations, contract management, data protection, compliance, and various other legal matters, working with a high level of autonomy and accountability.

• You assist in developing and maintaining our internal legal workflows, standard contracts, knowledge bases, and templates.

• You provide insights for enhancing our work processes, tools, and interfaces (such as AI components, automation, and data modeling).

• You play an active role in shaping our service architecture — defining how we onboard, manage, and scale mandates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of the first state law examination or a comparable qualification (e.g., Master in Business Law) with outstanding grades.

• A minimum of 3–6 years of professional experience, preferably within a legal department or another in-house setting.

• Knowledge in contract law, data protection, and compliance; familiarity with employment law and corporate law is advantageous.

• A keen interest in process optimization, tools, and automation.

• Capability to work autonomously, demonstrate initiative, and possess strong communication skills.

• Proficiency in German (C2) and fluent in English.
