Senior Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Managing and providing support for all legal functions and relationships within the portfolio.

• Supervising the activities of the law firms associated with the portfolio.

• Ensuring adherence to legal regulations globally, including necessary registrations and licenses (e.g., local and international regulatory bodies).

• Assessing and recognizing legal and financial risks and their implications.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in leading law firms or as in-house counsel, focusing on general legal matters, corporate and commercial law, startups, financing rounds, and commercial contracts (such as licensing agreements, manufacturing agreements, distribution, etc.).

• Experience in intellectual property (IP) matters is a plus.

• Familiarity with international tax law is an advantage.

• A background in accounting is beneficial.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and extensive legal knowledge are essential.

• Must possess a strong work ethic, be dynamic, proactive, a team player, and a self-starter.

• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills are required, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in English at a native or professional level is required.
