Senior Legal Compliance – Licensing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct licensing procedures for each location, which includes health departments, boards of cosmetology, medical boards, and zoning compliance.

• Ensure that all locations possess adequate insurance coverage, such as liability insurance, workers’ compensation, and medical director or MCO agreements.

• Develop and enforce compliant operational protocols, ensuring necessary medical director oversight and procedural sign-offs are in place.

• Collaborate closely with legal counsel to implement compliance initiatives accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor, track, and document all compliance milestones, renewals, and requirements utilizing internal Slack-based dashboards and tracking tools.

• Proactively recognize compliance risks and ensure their prompt resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in U.S. healthcare, med-spa, or aesthetic regulatory compliance.

• Proven success in independently managing multi-state licensing and regulatory processes.

• Experience in the med-spa or aesthetics field is highly desirable.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple jurisdictions at once.

• Effective and professional communication skills for collaboration with legal, operational, and executive teams.
