Senior / Lead PHP Developer, DDD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, document, deploy, and maintain software from the ground up.

• Improve and enhance current APIs and backend systems.

• Integrate external solutions into the payment ecosystem, which includes acquirers, gateways, alternative payment methods, token platforms, verification, scoring, monitoring, and reporting systems.

• Conduct tests and establish testing environments for new features.

• Resolve bugs and troubleshoot developed software.

• Create technical documentation.

• Provide support for deployed software in production.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members.

• Evaluate data, processes, and code to identify, address, or prevent issues and drive product enhancements.

• Build secure, well-tested, and high-performance fintech products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with best practices for optimizing code and web products in PHP, including caching and asynchronous programming.

• Knowledge of best practices for developing and maintaining large-scale projects.

• Profound understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Comprehensive knowledge of Symfony and RESTful API design and implementation using Symfony.

• Proficient in Doctrine ORM.

• Skilled in PostgreSQL and optimizing complex SQL queries through query rewriting, indexing strategies, and query execution plans.

• Experienced in database schema design, normalization, and entity-relationship modeling.

• Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker, encompassing Docker Engine, Docker Hub, and Docker Swarm.

• In-depth understanding of SOLID, GRASP, and design patterns.

• Awareness of advanced Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts, including Domain Events, Domain Services, and Bounded Contexts.

• Capability to design domain models for intricate business challenges.

• Advanced comprehension of Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) principles and their implementation.

• Extensive knowledge of professional architectural design practices and complex, scalable systems.

• Advanced proficiency in PHP integration test automation tools such as PHPUnit, Codeception, and Behat.

• Advanced understanding of Event Sourcing system development and deployment.

• Advanced knowledge of microservices design and deployment, including configuration management, monitoring, and logging.

• Proficient in Jenkins, including parameterization, plugins, and supplementary tools.

• Ability to work within the Central European Time (CET) time zone.
