Senior Layout Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assess the feasibility of layout designs for circuits in partnership with senior analog designers, taking into account design trade-offs and team contributions.

• Develop layouts for designated analog blocks through floor planning, placement, and routing processes.

• Conduct verification checks including DRC, ANT, LVS, PERC, EM, and IR to ensure high-quality layouts.

• Explore layout tools and process features that could boost productivity.

• Deliver regular status updates on project progress.

• Engage in team meetings and share expertise with colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry.

• Expertise in custom analog and mixed-signal layout design using deep-submicron CMOS technologies, including FinFET transistors.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within an established team environment and contribute positively to team initiatives.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in custom layout design for analog and mixed-signal applications, encompassing ADC, DAC, PLL, and SERDES.

• Familiarity with industry-standard layout tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, and Ansys Totem.

• Experience in implementing layout design flows for advanced technology nodes.
