Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the technical relationship from the initial discovery call to the contract finalization.

• Work alongside the data science team to convert ambiguous, high-pressure business challenges into functional prototypes and coherent technical narratives.

• Lead technical discovery sessions with both prospects and customers.

• Design and construct pipelines that integrate fragmented travel, financial, and expense systems.

• Organize, validate, and refine complex enterprise data into dependable datasets.

• Develop sustainable frameworks instead of temporary fixes.

• Utilize AI for enrichment, anomaly detection, forecasting, and automation.

• Transform experiments into repeatable and scalable workflows.

• Provide structured customer insights directly to the Product team.

• Convert customer-specific solutions into scalable platform features.

• Directly contribute to Clarasight's full-stack production codebase.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting.

• Proven history of delivering results in ambiguous and high-ownership settings.

• Capability to contribute to production codebases.

• Significant experience in managing complex enterprise data.

• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to act swiftly and prioritize outcomes over personal recognition.

• Experience with fintech or enterprise financial systems is a plus.

• Proven results in applying AI/ML to real operational data is an added advantage.

• Previous experience in a forward-deployed, solutions, or founding-engineer role at a startup is desirable.

• Familiarity with corporate travel, expense, or procurement data is beneficial.

• Must indicate if employment visa sponsorship will be required now or in the future.
