Senior Labor and Union Relations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee relationships with labor unions and employers' associations.

• Engage in collective bargaining, keeping track of collective agreements, accords, and rulings on disputes.

• Provide interpretation and guidance to departments on labor laws, collective agreements, and conventions.

• Conduct financial impact analyses stemming from collective negotiations and legislative modifications.

• Supervise mediation, conciliation, and negotiations with unions and relevant authorities.

• Manage timelines associated with union obligations.

• Assist the legal department by supplying documents and information for labor-related litigation.

• Evaluate labor-related risks and suggest preventive measures to minimize liabilities.

• Draft expert opinions on labor and union issues.

• Contribute to the review and enhancement of policies, internal regulations, and procedures concerning labor relations.

• Counsel managers and HR on the enforcement of laws, disciplinary actions, working hours, time banking, vacation, scheduling, and other labor-related topics.

• Support inspections from competent authorities, providing assistance as needed.

• Prepare KPIs, management reports, and presentations related to labor and union relations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, People Management, or related disciplines.

• Postgraduate degree in Labor Law, People Management, Labor Relations, or similar fields. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

• Proven experience in labor and union relations.

• Background in collective bargaining and relationship management with union organizations.

• Proficiency in Excel, ranging from intermediate to advanced levels.

• Familiarity with payroll systems and ERP, preferably with Senior-level expertise.

• Urgency in task completion; strong data analysis, communication, and interpersonal skills; adept at problem analysis and resolution; initiative; planning; organization; and control capabilities.
