This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Spearhead business growth and strategic partnerships with NHS Hospital trusts as well as private cancer centers and clinics.
• Foster effective relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers to promote and deepen understanding of the advantages of tumor profiling using liquid biopsy assays.
• Create and execute thorough account and business strategies for the region, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Collaborate with national and international team members to meet specific country targets and objectives.
• Regularly assess the competitive environment, offering strategic insights to Guardant Health leadership.
• Monitor and report on performance relative to objectives, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve sales goals.
• Exemplify and convey Guardant Health’s corporate culture to both external partners and internal teams.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in sales and account management with NHS Hospital trusts and private cancer centers and clinics in the UK.
• Extensive knowledge of oncology therapies and companion diagnostics, with a solid grasp of precision oncology, clinical medicine, and cancer genomics.
• Proven success in the commercialization of oncology pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and/or laboratory-developed tests.
• Demonstrated capability to guide a consultative selling process within local health systems, particularly in oncology hospital environments.
• Outstanding skills in strategic sales, negotiation, and key account planning.
• Exceptional listening and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities to support organizational objectives.
• Capacity to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, technical learning, and administrative competencies.
• Proven ability to manage business operations within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with the payer and reimbursement landscape in the UK’s oncology and diagnostic markets.
• Comprehensive clinical knowledge in oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics, and targeted therapies.
• Frequent travel (> 70%) across the territory as necessary.
• Participation in national and international congresses and meetings.
• Option for remote work when not traveling.
