This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve key partners on the East Coast by cultivating and enhancing relationships within the organization.
• Supervise a team of account trainers and key account managers in the Southeastern region.
• Conduct visits to offices and buyers to establish rapport, foster relationships, and drive business growth.
• Execute store visits and collaborate with Market Trainers to boost sales, training (including large rollout meetings and sales meetings), and the growth of AGB within each partner.
• Act as a coach and mentor to the Market Trainers throughout the process.
• Assist in launching new strategic accounts on the East Coast.
• Collaborate with the Retail Development Team on displays, POP options, delivery, and setup.
• Serve as a liaison between AGB and designated accounts.
• Manage timelines, oversee execution, and ensure follow-up once an account is onboarded.
• Handle daily account management responsibilities, including status reports, delivery service assistance, issue resolution, and connecting relevant individuals and departments to foster growth.
• Create, submit, and follow up on tasks related to assigned accounts.
• Dedicate time to our East Coast flagship Avocado stores to establish connections and remain aligned with our unique business approach.
• Engage our retail and strategic partners with the same energy, enthusiasm, and transparency.
• Be accountable for sales, profit, expenses, marketing, and merchandising functions for the assigned partner.
• Lead the customer account planning cycle and formulate strategic short- and long-term plans to achieve set sales goals.
• Ensure that customer-specific programs, guidelines, and policies are effectively communicated and adhered to.
• Regularly assess a partner's sales performance and devise strategies to maintain successes and address deficiencies.
• Keep management informed about the partners’ strategic plans and progress towards goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support AGB’s broader vision for the East Coast.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of developing, managing, and enhancing exceptional client relationships.
• Experience in leading and managing a team of brand representatives.
• Experience in the mattress and bedding industry is a significant advantage, along with established industry relationships, particularly on the East Coast.
• Strong skills in research, writing, editing, and client interaction.
• Capability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Organized, self-driven, with a proactive mindset towards managing and executing projects.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, analyze information, and provide recommendations for problem-solving.
• A strong passion for the principles and core values of Avocado as a leader in certified organic and sustainable products.
