This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with OEM clients and key decision-makers.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to enhance year-over-year sales growth.
• Act as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, comprehending customer strategies and objectives.
• Create and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and margin goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions for customers.
• Keep track of market trends, customer activities, and competitive advancements.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM updates, and visibility of inventory.
• Exhibit a strong technical comprehension of lighting products, technologies, and platforms.
• Assist in pricing strategies, promotional efforts, and brand development initiatives.
• Dedicate substantial time in the field engaging with customers and fostering account growth.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or account management is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in the lighting industry is strongly preferred.
• Established relationships with OEM or key accounts are preferred.
• Strong skills in customer engagement and relationship-building are required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
• LEED accreditation, LC certification, or PE designation is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and an entrepreneurial mindset are preferred.
