Senior Java Full-Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in the development, upkeep, and advancement of Java systems within complex and critical corporate settings.

• Design and sustain REST APIs, ensuring their quality, security, performance, and scalability.

• Take part in requirements analysis, defining technical solutions, and enhancing existing and legacy systems.

• Create integrations between various systems and distributed applications utilizing APIs and messaging solutions.

• Implement and uphold solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

• Collaborate with relational and/or NoSQL databases, executing queries, data modeling, and optimization tasks.

• Adhere to SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, and Clean Code methodologies.

• Participate in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes through version control and automation tools.

• Operate within containerized environments using Docker, and Kubernetes when relevant.

• Assist in support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution in critical settings.

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams utilizing Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software development, particularly in high-complexity projects.

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

• Demonstrated experience in developing REST APIs.

• Backend proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.

• Understanding of authentication and security protocols, including OAuth2 and JWT.

• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Robust SQL skills, encompassing modeling, querying, and optimization.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge of Docker and foundational Kubernetes concepts.

• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Acquainted with SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, and development best practices.

• Background in messaging and system integration; familiarity with Kafka and/or SQS is a plus.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and Jira usage.

• Ability to function in critical environments, emphasizing problem-solving, quality, and operational continuity.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills in environments with legacy systems and gradual technological progression.
