Senior Java Engineer – Microservices, API Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java.

• Engage in integration projects between applications and legacy systems.

• Collaborate on the technical design of new solutions.

• Establish best practices, standards, and proof of concepts.

• Contribute to the evolution of architecture and development processes.

• Serve as a technical reference within the team and support less experienced colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in backend Java development.

• Proficiency with Java 17+ and microservices.

• Strong knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with Oracle, MariaDB, or MySQL.

• Mastery of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

• Familiarity with Git and continuous integration environments.

• Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, and design patterns.

• Experience in automated testing and TDD.

• Docker and containerization skills will be especially valued.

• Knowledge of cloud technologies.

• Understanding of hexagonal architectures.

• Familiarity with Quarkus, Micronaut, or Spring Native.

• Experience in complex integration environments.
