Senior Java Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop back-end web applications.

• Design and implement essential business logic, high-performance servers, and databases.

• Ensure that systems are secure, reliable, and optimized across various platforms.

• Design and develop APIs to facilitate communication between systems.

• Collaborate with developers to build scalable software solutions.

• Lead significant projects from conception to completion.

• Maintain code quality, address bugs, and improve functionality.

• Analyze data, processes, and code to pinpoint enhancements and troubleshoot issues.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Information Technology.

• A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, and Hibernate.

• Experience with Oracle Service Bus, Oracle DB, and RDBMS database technologies.

• Familiarity with OpenID Connect, SSO, and various integration techniques.

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud development.

• Expertise in Kafka, ActiveMQ, JMS, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs.

• Experience with tools such as Secunda and IOP IAM.

• Advanced knowledge of Procurement and Grant Management business domains.

• Understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache, SSL/TLS, and reverse proxy configurations.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Bamboo, and Docker.

• Knowledge of Git.

• Fluent in English.

• Proficiency in French is a plus.

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies is advantageous.

• Experience with NoSQL databases, Angular, TypeScript, and front-end technologies is a plus.
