Senior Backend Engineer, Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services utilizing Go.

• Analyze and optimize distributed systems and architectures based on microservices.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams to embed data-driven features into bidder workflows.

• Work closely with Product Managers to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Produce high-quality, maintainable code, engage in code reviews, and contribute to best engineering practices.

• Manage features from inception to production, identifying and addressing complex performance challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust background and extensive experience in backend software development using Go.

• Profound knowledge of distributed systems and microservice architectures.

• Practical experience in building and operating high-performance, low-latency backend services.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze system bottlenecks and tackle intricate scalability issues.

• Capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with Product and engineering teams.

• A strong desire to understand not only the functioning of systems but also the business problems they address.

• Experience within the AdTech or Programmatic Advertising ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, exchanges) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with auction mechanics and large-scale decision-making systems is a plus.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments is beneficial.

• Understanding of data-intensive applications, analytics platforms, and large-scale aggregations is a bonus.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and their integration into production is a plus.
