This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices for pharmacy benefit management and point-of-sale systems.
• Create scalable solutions tailored for high-performance transaction environments.
• Collaborate effectively in Agile planning, estimation, and design sessions.
• Work alongside product and project teams to provide technical estimates and progress updates.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production and system challenges.
• Independently drive development tasks with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across various time zones.
• Clearly and proactively report critical issues as they arise.
• Support system architecture and engage in hands-on development.
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
• Over 6 years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, JDBC, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience in building web services utilizing SOAP/REST and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Struts, Spring MVC, and ESB technologies like Camel/Fuse.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID authentication protocols.
• Front-end development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks.
• Proficient with Git, SVN, Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins.
• Ability to write optimized Oracle SQL queries.
• Understanding of system design, architecture, and security best practices.
• Capacity to tackle complex technical challenges and rapidly learn new technologies.
• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and manage priorities autonomously.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience based in the U.S.
• Over 10 years of overall industry experience.
• Preferred experience with Azure configuration.
• Familiarity with AWS, Hibernate, and Spring Batch is a plus.
• Experience with Kafka, Airflow, or similar data processing tools is desirable.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, Medicaid, claims, or insurance platforms.
