Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Work collaboratively with team members and interact with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights into product roadmaps.

• Participate in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing and optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of tailored software solutions.

• Create software for a tax administration system that encompasses tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• In-depth experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
