Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues efficiently.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery schedule planning.

• Collaborate with team members and liaise with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of tailored software solutions.

• Work on a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a nice addition.
