Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing, diagnose issues, and resolve problems

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes

• Contribute to the development of a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficient with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies

• Competency in communicating effectively in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus
