Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery timeline planning

• Actively collaborate with colleagues and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Participate in triage tasks, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system encompassing tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficient in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus
