Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing

• Identify and resolve issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Confident communication skills in English

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
