Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing, along with troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Actively collaborate with team members and maintain communication with Project Stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights to shape product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing and streamlining CI/CD processes.

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant public-sector technology client in Europe.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Capability to communicate fluently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Nice to have: Experience in Angular front-end development.

• Nice to have: Proficiency in German or Swiss German.
