Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines

• Collaborate actively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights into product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing and supporting CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Proficient in the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledgeable about microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Proficient in English communication

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus
