Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components according to design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing

• Identify and resolve issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Strong understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
