Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in line with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing activities

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector client

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German
