Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications

• Execute system integration and testing procedures

• Identify and resolve technical issues

• Conduct unit testing of software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery scheduling

• Collaborate with peers and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and manage customized software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
