Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing of software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in optimizing CI/CD processes.

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant public-sector client in Europe.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that handles tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient in the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Capable of communicating confidently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred).
