Senior IT Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment and management of AI solutions throughout their lifecycle.

• Set up, configure, and oversee MCP servers that connect AI systems with internal tools and data sources.

• Activate and manage AI features within SaaS platforms such as Atlassian Rovo, Slack AI, Okta AI, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini.

• Provision and support the infrastructure for AI agents, which includes service accounts, API keys, permissions, rate-limit monitoring, and access auditing.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for AI integrations, including architecture diagrams, access maps, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

• Recognize valuable AI tools and integrations that can benefit IT and the wider organization.

• Oversee UserTesting’s IT systems and SaaS toolset.

• Manage platforms during user onboarding, offboarding, access management, feature rollouts, system cleanups, and lifecycle assessments.

• Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical debt across IT systems, workflows, and integrations.

• Collaborate with IT System Administrators to enhance reliability, automation, documentation, and supportability.

• Serve as an escalation point for complex IT Service Management (ITSM) issues.

• Work closely with Security, People Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.

• Document processes, system changes, and troubleshooting workflows.

• Train and mentor IT Support staff on ITSM best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work Monday through Friday in the US Eastern or Central time zones.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT systems in a system administrator role.

• At least 5 years of experience with Okta Workflows, Google Workspace Administration, and MDM platforms (Jamf / Intune).

• Practical experience with MCP server setup and management, AI agent deployment, and configuring AI features within enterprise SaaS tools.

• Familiarity with scripting and automation technologies, particularly in Python and/or Bash.

• Working proficiency with Git for version control and JSON/YAML for configuration and API tasks.

• Experience with API-based integrations, including key management, permission scoping, reading documentation, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

• Capability to operate in a Kanban-style environment, managing deadlines, new tasks, and technical debt effectively.

• Ability to train and mentor IT Support staff on ITSM practices.

• Certifications in AI platforms are advantageous but not mandatory.

• Willingness to learn in a constantly evolving environment.
