Senior IT Project Manager – Operations Data Hub

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee IT initiatives within the Data Domain from inception to completion

• Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, challenges, and dependencies

• Coordinate efforts across Data, IT, business teams, and external vendors

• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and discussions with stakeholders

• Drive evaluation of the existing data landscape, focusing on data access, ownership, and contextualization

• Assist in defining data models, metadata management processes, and governance frameworks

• Manage integration activities across MES, laboratory systems, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications

• Identify project risks and obstacles, implementing mitigation strategies

• Ensure alignment between technical delivery, business needs, and regulatory standards

• Aid in rollout planning and the adoption of new data management capabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing Data, Analytics, Data Platform, Data Governance, and Data Transformation projects from start to finish in complex global organizations

• Practical project management experience, including requirements gathering, integration delivery, testing, vendor coordination, and deployment tasks

• Experience leading cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Architects, Business Analysts, Reporting teams, and Business stakeholders

• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, data ownership, and regulatory/compliance requirements

• Proven capability to manage the complete delivery of data transformation projects, including roadmap planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and change management

• Experience with integrations related to manufacturing, laboratory, and analytics platforms

• Background in the pharmaceutical industry (GxP) is essential
