Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead several cross-functional IT infrastructure project teams for low- to medium-risk initiatives while adhering to time, budget, and scope limitations.

• Formulate project teams and establish comprehensive project work plans.

• Oversee expectations, deliverables, outcomes, scope, costs, schedules, staffing, vendors, and contractual obligations.

• Monitor project milestones and modify project plans or resources to uphold customer commitments.

• Relay project status and risks to stakeholders effectively.

• Administer project change management processes.

• Oversee a large-scale project from its initial planning stage to final completion.

• Create and manage project estimates, execution strategies, timelines, and resource projections.

• Evaluate project performance and address any arising issues.

• Assist with requests for information and vendor proposal processes.

• Coordinate activities within the IT team and provide guidance to project teams.

• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, change control, status reporting, and project estimation processes.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including internal customers, third-party vendors, and senior management.

• Monitor and communicate key metrics and share lessons learned and feedback.

• Offer support to senior project managers on larger projects and programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of project management experience, encompassing IT or related business fields.

• More than 10 years of involvement in projects that utilize project life cycle methodologies.

• A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures is preferred.

• Competence in managing and tracking server patching and schedules.

• Proven experience in influencing and overseeing project teams without formal direct reporting relationships.

• Extensive knowledge of PMI-based project management competency areas and methodologies.

• Proficient in applying project management techniques to ensure project success.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience in engaging with all management levels.

• At least 8 years of experience with Oracle EBS.
