Senior IT Project Manager – EWM, Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of EWM system implementation initiatives.

• Manage communications with stakeholders across various departments and external partners.

• Create detailed project plans that include resource distribution, risk management strategies, and contingency plans.

• Supervise the configuration, testing, and rollout of EWM solutions.

• Lead and mentor project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.

• Evaluate business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Handle project budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships.

• Coordinate change management activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in IT project management.

• Minimum of 5 years leading implementations of EWM or warehouse management systems.

• Established expertise in SAP EWM systems, covering configuration, customization, and deployment.

• Solid understanding of operations in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory frameworks (GxP, GDP), and compliance requirements.

• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-phase projects with budgets over €1 million.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a history of leading high-performance teams.

• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Jira, or similar tools).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
