Senior IT Project Manager – EWM, Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of EWM system implementation projects, ensuring outcomes are delivered within defined scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

• Manage communications with stakeholders across various departments and external partners, maintaining transparency and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Create detailed project plans that encompass resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency measures tailored to pharmaceutical operations.

• Supervise the configuration, testing, and deployment of EWM solutions, ensuring adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory standards (GxP, GDP).

• Direct and mentor project teams, encouraging collaboration and accountability while upholding high standards of technical excellence.

• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications, collaborating closely with IT architects and warehouse operations teams.

• Oversee project budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships to enhance cost-effectiveness.

• Facilitate change management initiatives, ensuring a seamless transition and user adoption of new systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management.

• At least 5 years of experience leading EWM or warehouse management system implementations.

• Proven expertise in SAP EWM systems, including their configuration, customization, and deployment.

• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical industry operations, regulatory frameworks (GxP, GDP), and compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, multi-phase projects with budgets exceeding €1 million.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven record of leading high-performing teams.

• Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Jira, or similar tools).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; capable of presenting to senior stakeholders.
