Senior IT Project Manager, Business Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery of intricate, cross-functional IT business systems projects.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and interdependencies.

• Propel execution across various workstreams, teams, and vendors.

• Manage project scope, risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively escalate and address challenges.

• Ensure timely delivery of projects while staying within scope and budget.

• Coordinate deliverables and timelines from vendors and implementation partners.

• Foster alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

• Provide clear and succinct status updates along with executive-level communications.

• Assist in change management, testing coordination, and readiness for go-live.

• Establish and uphold project governance, standards, and best practices.

• Promote ongoing improvements in delivery processes and tools.

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors to plan and execute high-impact projects.

• Report directly to the VP - IT, Security & Business Systems.

• Function without any direct reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of project or program management experience, particularly in IT business systems.

• Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within an enterprise context.

• Strong grasp of enterprise platforms including ERP, billing, payments, CRM, and integrations.

• Experience in managing external vendors and system implementation partners.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating acquired companies into core business systems post-M&A activity.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong skills in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making.

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologies.

• PMP, PgMP, or a similar certification is preferred.

• Experience in a SaaS or high-growth technology setting is preferred.
