Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Planet project managers oversee a diverse array of technical projects.

• They lead an interdisciplinary IT project team consisting of engineers specialized in various fields, architects, cloud strategists, and fellow project managers from project initiation through to production implementation.

• Responsibilities include creating, managing, and overseeing project timelines along with all necessary actions to ensure synchronization across multiple schedules and requirements within all workstreams.

• The role involves developing and executing risk assessments, change management strategies, quality assurance protocols, performance metrics, and control measures to guarantee project completion in line with established standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

• Regular engagement with both internal and external stakeholders is essential for gathering, prioritizing, and refining requirements, as well as discussing ongoing work, exploring opportunities, and addressing challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree along with 7 to 10 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in a Microsoft Office 365 environment.

• Proven experience in managing large, intricate IT projects while simultaneously overseeing multiple initiatives.

• A successful track record in managing project scope and identifying as well as preparing necessary change orders.

• Capability to assess risks and recognize when to escalate issues to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Azure DevOps, and OnePlan.
