Senior IT Operations Engineer – SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance our internal IT framework, guaranteeing secure, dependable, and scalable daily operations across endpoints, SaaS tools, identity, and access management.

• Foster operational maturity by establishing structure, refining workflows, and minimizing manual or reactive support tasks throughout the organization.

• Lead and manage internal IT initiatives, encompassing onboarding automation, device management, security enhancements, and the deployment of new tools.

• Serve as a reliable technical partner for employees and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication, prioritization, and follow-through across distributed teams.

• Elevate our security posture by fortifying access controls, endpoint management, compliance procedures, and operational best practices.

• Oversee and optimize our SaaS ecosystem, balancing user-friendliness, security, cost-efficiency, and maintainability.

• Develop scalable internal processes and documentation that promote autonomy, consistency, and operational resilience as the company expands.

• Participate in company-wide operational readiness efforts, including audits, compliance initiatives, and improvements to business continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Internal IT, IT Operations, or Systems Administration within contemporary SaaS environments.

• Strong proficiency in identity and access management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and security best practices.

• Practical experience managing distributed or remote-first work environments.

• Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills — capable of independently driving initiatives from planning to implementation.

• A process-driven mindset centered on scalability, automation, and operational transparency.

• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• The ability to balance hands-on execution with long-term operational enhancements.
