This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and guide a team dedicated to the planning, design, development, deployment, and support of applications and digital platforms for customers.
• Drive technological solutions that improve customer engagement across web, mobile, and digital channels.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to define priorities, set capability roadmaps, and deliver business value.
• Manage initiatives that range from enhancing existing applications to developing new digital capabilities.
• Oversee evaluations of software packages, vendor selection, and implementation projects.
• Maintain relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers, including contract negotiations and procurement activities.
• Advocate for process improvements, enhancements in customer experience, and modernization of technology.
• Ensure dependable operational support for critical customer-facing systems.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.
• Ensure successful implementation of applications that support company-wide business operations.
• Prepare work plans, manage human and financial resources, negotiate timelines, scope, and costs, oversee tasks, report status, and administer vendor contracts.
• Maintain IT systems to agreed service levels for availability, reliability, performance, and cost.
• Plan maintenance, repairs, enhancements, and upgrades; develop on-call schedules, backup plans, and documentation for 24x7 support.
• Create capability roadmaps, business value realization reports, resource visibility, corrective actions, and annual budget plans.
• Identify talent needs; attract, hire, develop, retain, coach, mentor, evaluate, and provide feedback to team members.
• Communicate project, system, financial, and team performance to executives, sponsors, stakeholders, and staff.
• Establish and nurture relationships with internal sponsors, stakeholders, support teams, and external vendors.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years of professional work experience.
• 12+ years of experience in IT.
• Familiarity with supervisory skills including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and termination.
• Understanding of company policies and relevant state and federal employment laws concerning supervisory duties.
• Leadership skills encompassing team building, associate motivation, growth and development, mentoring, and advancement planning.
• Knowledge of website and mobile application development, virtual agents, and OMNI Channel customer experience.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as WBS, OBS, cash flow analysis, Gantt and network diagrams, and resource schedules.
• Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), risk assessment, and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Rapid Application Development, or Agile SCRUM.
• Proven experience with Agile frameworks, supporting tools, and leading Agile ceremonies.
• KMP certification is a plus.
• Understanding of system testing practices and tools.
• Proficient in problem-solving techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of vendor product solicitation, evaluation, and selection.
• General knowledge of software development languages, frameworks, and tools including JAVA, .NET, Python, and Django.
• General knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Solaris, Linux, and OS/390.
• General understanding of computer hardware and infrastructure, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and storage.
• General knowledge of data networking including TCP/IP, IP subnetting, and DNS.
• General knowledge of secure software and host platform development and implementation.
• General knowledge of database administration platforms, tools, and techniques for high-availability and high-performance systems.
• General knowledge of DEVOPS, CI/CD build pipelines, and automated testing strategies.
• General awareness of regulations including CPNI, PCI, and CALEA.
• Knowledge of federal and state privacy regulations and the company's privacy and security policies.
• Ability to travel as required for company business and professional development.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary for system implementations and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with business analysis and business process modeling.
• Understanding of quality management and quality improvement practices.
• Awareness of team leadership practices and behaviors.
• Knowledge of techniques, tools, and applicable laws for effective and lawful interviews.
• Skill in writing and presenting business proposals to management.
• Ability to establish business relationships with external vendors.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills, with the ability to convey complex information to general audiences.
