IT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the daily management of IAM platforms, encompassing user lifecycle workflows, access provisioning, group oversight, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

• Assist with Single Sign-On (SSO) and System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) integrations between IAM systems and various SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion.

• Aid in the enforcement of least-privilege access principles while supporting access reviews and audits.

• Implement secure access provisioning and deprovisioning in accordance with lifecycle processes.

• Provide support for macOS endpoint management, including device enrollment, compliance monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle workflows.

• Manage device preparation, shipping, replacements, and the secure recovery of devices.

• Coordinate and execute comprehensive employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of low-code/no-code automations, such as Okta Workflows.

• Ensure that lifecycle processes are well-documented, repeatable, and auditable.

• Deliver Tier 1–2 IT support encompassing identity, SaaS applications, access issues, and macOS endpoints.

• Act as an escalation point for intricate access, integration, or device challenges.

• Conduct structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

• Support vendor onboarding, evaluation, renewals, SaaS access reviews, and vendor offboarding.

• Enhance procurement, asset tracking, and IT operational workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or systems-focused roles.

• Proven experience providing Tier 1–2 IT support in a SaaS-centric environment.

• Strong understanding of identity and access management fundamentals, including SSO, SCIM, MFA, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

• Practical experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, or similar solutions.

• Experience in supporting Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environments.

• Background in supporting macOS environments or a solid grasp of endpoint fundamentals.

• Proficiency in working within a terminal/CLI environment suitable for the experience level.

• Capability to read and modify scripts written in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.
