This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, assess, and address security alerts, incidents, and investigations across endpoint, cloud, and email security tools.
• Assist in vulnerability management initiatives, which include scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and coordination among teams.
• Develop and uphold procedures that enhance system efficiency and minimize manual tasks, particularly during employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Oversee the corporate hardware inventory, operating systems, software, mobile device management, and information security tools.
• Offer support for corporate IT and information security challenges.
• Collaborate with vendors and other IT staff for resolving issues.
• Evaluate business needs by working closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization to craft solutions for internal IT requirements.
• Assist in security and technology roadmap projects as well as process improvement efforts.
• Foster a culture of security awareness through ongoing training and communication efforts.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of combined experience in IT operations and information security, with practical exposure to cloud software environments.
• Familiarity with platform management (Mac, Linux, or a combination) and workstation management tools such as Jamf, Iru, or Datto.
• In-depth experience with Google Workspace, including Mobile Device Management features within Google Workspace.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and managing security tools, including endpoint security solutions (CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, Windows Defender, etc.), cloud security tools (CSPM, CNAPP, etc.), email security solutions (Mimecast, ProofPoint, Abnormal, etc.), and SIEM platforms (Rapid7, Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.).
• Comprehensive understanding of information security principles, including device encryption, antivirus solutions, digital certificates, and security policies.
• Experience with AWS and cloud infrastructures, including virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Demonstrated strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across both technical and non-technical teams.
• Preferred: Experience with scripting or automation (Python, Go, or similar). Knowledge of security orchestration and automation tools. Familiarity with incident response procedures and forensic investigations.
