Senior IT Engineer – Database Administration, DBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support for Pathward’s technologies and suggest enhancements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and data for unified insights on product performance, quality, and operational support functions.

• Deliver timely work estimates and fulfill commitments.

• Assist other IT departments with various tasks and troubleshooting efforts.

• Assess new software and infrastructure technologies within the industry.

• Ensure quality of applications and infrastructure through testing and compliance with IT standards and guidelines.

• Create test data necessary for testing procedures.

• Confirm that applications and infrastructure comply with IT-defined security protocols.

• Recognize and report potential technology risks.

• Comprehend data associated with supported technologies.

• Maintain documentation of processes, best practices, and standards.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

• Conduct analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and support of IT solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and professional experience.

• Generally, 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent background.

• Experience in supporting and maintaining applications and/or infrastructure.

• Capability to analyze data in relation to business requirements.

• Familiarity with application and infrastructure testing.

• Understanding of IT standards, guidelines, and security protocols.

• Knowledge of database administration and IT solution management.

• Experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support.
