Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS SDK using Swift, while ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers.

• Tackling challenges related to performance and compatibility across a diverse range of devices and network conditions.

• Implementing and enhancing testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

• Participating in code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and mentoring fellow engineers.

• Identifying and promoting new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance development efficiency and product quality.

• Proactively identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues to maintain reliability and stability.

• Contributing to the technical direction of the iOS SDK and assisting in shaping the future of Veriff’s mobile products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior iOS Engineer with a proven history of building high-quality iOS applications or SDKs.

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS frameworks (Cocoa Touch, UIKit, etc.).

• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable, testable codebases and APIs.

• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and their integration into mobile applications.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., unit, integration, performance testing, Fastlane).

• Strong problem-solving abilities, an ownership mindset, and the capability to drive complex initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
