Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain native iOS applications utilizing Swift and Objective-C.

• Engage in booking processes, payment systems, and customer-oriented experiences.

• Connect applications with various backend services.

• Assume responsibility for key product domains.

• Enhance system efficiency, security, reliability, and application scalability.

• Employ AI tools to dissect complex issues, assign tasks to agents, assess their output, and make necessary adjustments.

• Design and manage intricate agent orchestration systems.

• Establish frameworks for human-agent collaboration.

• Deliver product features through agent-assisted development alongside human team members.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Design, Engineering, and other stakeholders.

• Engage in peer code evaluations, unit testing, continuous integration, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Assist in workflows utilized directly by Peek’s clientele.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in development using Swift/Objective-C.

• Strong foundational knowledge in iOS mobile development, encompassing API integration, data modeling, solid system design, application reliability, and troubleshooting production issues.

• Proven experience in creating efficient and reliable mobile features that integrate with multiple services and products.

• Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar within a production engineering environment.

• Ability to critically analyze AI-generated code, focusing on logic, security, and maintainability.

• Strong instincts in system design, including understanding trade-offs, edge cases, scaling, and failure scenarios.

• Expertise in Swift and mobile development.

• Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and TDD.

• Experience with mobile application architecture and design patterns at scale.

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and UI testing methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of AI tools and foundational principles of production software.
