Mid-Level iOS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain features in iOS applications utilizing Swift and contemporary architectures like MVVM.

• Comprehend the business context and suggest technical solutions that enhance value for end users.

• Recognize technical debt and opportunities for continuous improvement, including refactoring and technology advancement.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code while regularly creating unit tests.

• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and efficiently utilize backend services.

• Oversee project dependencies and libraries through Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.

• Engage in code reviews and assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs.

• Take part in agile ceremonies and technical discussions regarding new features with the international team.

• Collaborate with the Product team and global colleagues on the innovative Syngenta (AMP) project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced or fluent English for daily verbal and written communication with the global team.

• An investigative mindset and a desire for continuous learning.

• Demonstrated experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Expertise in creating interfaces with programmatic layouts, including SnapKit or Auto Layout.

• Strong grasp of design patterns and architecture, including MVVM and Delegation.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.

• Hands-on experience with integrating RESTful APIs and managing JSON.

• Proficient in unit testing using XCTest.

• Familiarity with Git and agile methodologies like Scrum/Kanban.

• Capability to independently solve problems and communicate effectively within a team.

• Ability to read and maintain legacy Objective-C code (desirable).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise (desirable).

• Knowledge of local persistence technologies such as CoreData, SwiftData, or Realm, as well as UI libraries like Pulley (desirable).

• Experience with observability, performance monitoring, and error-tracking tools such as Crashlytics or Sentry (desirable).
