Senior iOS Engineer, Swift, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance production-quality native iOS applications.

• Create high-standard mobile solutions utilizing Swift and contemporary iOS development methodologies.

• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to convert technical requirements into scalable solutions.

• Implement suitable application architecture, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.

• Integrate mobile applications with APIs, cloud services, SDKs, and external platforms.

• Contribute to mobile initiatives encompassing tracking, attribution, deep linking, in-app experiences, and customer journey optimization.

• Produce production-ready, thoroughly tested, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Establish and uphold automated testing for mobile applications.

• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines that facilitate mobile application delivery.

• Utilize AWS services and cloud-native architectures to support mobile applications.

• Diagnose and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments.

• Engage in code reviews and share technical knowledge.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.

• Work directly with customer engineering teams to communicate technical decisions, progress, risks, and trade-offs.

• Extensive professional experience in developing production-grade native iOS applications.

• Profound hands-on experience with Swift.

• Strong comprehension of iOS application architecture and software design patterns.

• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting production applications.

• Familiarity with integrating mobile applications with APIs, SDKs, and backend/cloud services.

• Significant experience working within AWS cloud environments.

• Knowledge in CI/CD and automation of mobile application delivery.

• Strong understanding of testing and software quality assurance practices.

• Experience in Agile software development settings.

• Excellent customer-facing communication abilities.

• Capacity to articulate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly.

• In-depth knowledge of mobile application architecture, software design patterns, application lifecycle, and API/service integrations.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in testing and automation methodologies.

• Background in writing, reviewing, and deploying production-quality code.

• Experience troubleshooting applications in development and production settings.

• Involvement in code reviews.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, and customer technical teams.

• Objective-C experience, particularly in supporting or modernizing legacy iOS applications.

• Experience with mobile attribution and analytics technologies.

• Knowledge in implementing mobile deep linking.

• Experience in integrating third-party mobile SDKs.

• Familiarity with Firebase.

• Experience with AppsFlyer or similar attribution platforms.

• Knowledge of CDP or customer-data integrations.

• Experience in marketing technology or conversion-related mobile initiatives.

• Familiarity with React, Node.js, TypeScript, or Python.

• Awareness of Generative AI technologies.

• UI/UX experience.

• Proficiency in English.
