This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take the lead on tasks related to pricing and investigator payments, emphasizing technical expertise, quality, and ongoing enhancement.
• Execute activities linked to the development, continuous improvement, monitoring, and maintenance of the investigator grant forecasting process, organized by study, country, site, and milestone/event.
• Convert protocol assumptions and operational strategies into payment and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations to align forecasts with actual outcomes, clarify variances, and regularly update assumptions.
• Oversee and analyze payment drivers to uncover forecast risks and opportunities.
• Assist in the adoption of standardized forecasting methodologies, templates, and controls to enhance consistency across studies.
• Ensure that forecasting results are aligned with financial systems and processes.
• Aid in the development of executive-ready dashboards and reports that showcase burn rate, run-rate, and key forecast sensitivities.
• Contribute to scenario planning and assess the financial impact.
• Preserve documentation and data traceability to support internal controls, audits, and readiness for inspections.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancement, driving implementation with stakeholders.
• Assist in technology evaluations and requirements to create a more sustainable IG forecasting capability.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, life sciences, statistics, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in clinical trial finance, forecasting, budgeting, grants/payments, or CRO financial management at the study, program, or portfolio level.
• Proven ability to develop forecasts that connect operational assumptions to financial results.
• Proficient in Excel (scenario modeling) and comfortable handling large, multi-study datasets.
• Excellent communication skills for aligning cross-functional stakeholders regarding assumptions, risks, and updates.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and capable of managing multiple studies and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong project management abilities to balance assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
