Senior Internal Controls Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold rigorous standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls within manufacturing finance and operations to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

• Establish and supervise comprehensive controls throughout purchasing, production, inventory, and sales, protecting financial transactions and data integrity.

• Architect and oversee control mechanisms including segregation of duties, approval workflows, and systematic document matching across the entire value chain.

• Conduct reconciliations between operational and financial data to pinpoint discrepancies and enhance reporting reliability.

• Examine budgets, variances, cost structures, and margin trends; suggest and execute process and cost-efficiency improvements.

• Perform risk assessments and evaluate control effectiveness, driving remediation through root-cause analysis and organized follow-up.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate controls into daily operations, improve ERP-driven reporting, and assist with internal and external audits.

• Propel operational and control enhancements by utilizing ERP and system capabilities, standardizing reporting, and streamlining workflows in partnership with plant, supply chain, finance, and IT teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CA).

• Over 5 years of experience in internal controls, FP&A, finance operations, audit, or similar positions.

• Extensive expertise in financial reconciliations, process mapping, and ERP systems.

• Advanced Excel proficiency for modeling, analysis, and reporting.

• Practical experience with data tools such as VBA, Power Pivot, Power BI, or comparable analytics platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a knack for identifying root causes and optimizing processes and controls.
